DESPERATE EROTICISM TEE
LUST? LOVE?
We like to think lust and love are easy to tell apart.
One belongs to the body.
The other to something deeper.
Maybe we’re lying to ourselves.
Maybe they’re just two sides of the same coin.
One leaves its smell on your skin.
The other leaves a memory you can’t wash off.
Three bodies.
Three stages.
Desire.
Loss.
Memory.
First, you want it.
Then, for a moment, it’s yours.
And eventually, all you have left is what it made you feel.
The body forgets the touch.
The mind keeps finding its way back to it.
That’s where LUST? LOVE? exists.
Somewhere between craving and attachment.
Between what happened and what remains after.
Because maybe lust becomes love.
Maybe love was lust with enough time to leave a scar.
Lust and love were never opposites.
Sometimes the difference is only what remains the morning after.
